Upon arriving
at this glorious getaway by the sea, it was apparent to us that
this was going to be an extraordinary weekend. From the lush
gardens and deer meandering about the trees, to the welcoming
smile from BJ as we approached the porch, our arrival here was
no less than magnificent. Our host and hostess are warm and
gracious, and their pride in their work shows throughout this
beautiful bed and breakfast. Our room was Victoria's Repose, and
what a beautiful room! With the fireplace and the private hot
tub just outside the door, the warmth envelops you and invites
you to unwind and you find yourself never wanting to leave the
room. BJ was very gracious when we didn't arrive for breakfast
in the morning, as we had stayed up til the wee hours talking,
laughing, and sharing by the fire light.
We feel so blessed that we were able to find this lovely getaway
and are planning our next visit here in the spring when the
gardens are in bloom. If you're looking for beauty, peace, and
total comfort we recommend BJ's wonderful hospitality. BJ is
very accommodating and flexible and we so enjoyed our time here.
